Martin Szekely , Ne plus dessiner

Le Centre Pompidou présente jusqu'au 2 janvier une exposition sur Martin Szekely, qui a toujours développé un design épuré et fonctionnel. Avec sa chaise longue Pi au début des années 1980, il se fait connaître du grand public.
Depuis 1996, en remettant en question sa discipline, il choisit de "ne pas dessiner", et renonçe à se positionner comme "auteur" et à s'approprier ses créations en renonçant à poser sa signature.
Ainsi, il s'adresse au grand public, privilègie les choix de matériaux et la fonctionnalité.
