BARBICAN

Basé au nord de la City de Londres, le Barbican est un symbole de l'architecture brutaliste. Conçu en 1971 par les architectes  Chamberlin, Powell et Bon, il a été livré en 1982.

Le Centre Barbican regroupe le plus grand centre des arts du spectacle d'Europe, une bibliothèque, trois restaurants et une serre tropicale, ainsi que de nombreux logements suivant un programme élaboré dans l'après-guerre.

Based on north of the City of London, the Barbican is a symbol of Brutalist architecture. Designed in 1971 by architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon, it was delivered in 1982. 

The Barbican Centre has the largest performing arts center in Europe, a library, three restaurants and a tropical greenhouse, as well as many homes following a postwar period program.
