Paraboot : « Une légende française »

L'histoire de Paraboot remonte au 19ème siècle, à Izeaux, petit village aux pieds des Alpes. Issu d'une famille de paysan, Rémy Richard est d'abord ouvrier dans un des ateliers de chaussures du village, puis entreprend rapidement de proposer ses propres modèles. C'est aux Etats-Unis que l'entrepreneur découvrira les boots en caoutchouc et s'en inspirera pour l'associer au cuir et aux techniques du cousu main. L'aventure est lancée et l'entreprise évoluera au fil du temps pour proposer des modèles inusables et ressemelables chez le cordonnier.

La "Michaël" est un des modèles mythiques  de la marque depuis 70 ans.

Paraboot history starts in the 19th century in Izeaux, French village of the Alps. Coming from a farmer family, Rémy Richard was worker in one of the shoes workshops of the village, then quickly began to offer its own models.

In the United States, he will discover the american rubber boots and will be inspired to associate rubber with leather and techniques of hand-stitched. The adventure is launched for the company.
