TRELLICK TOWER 1972 - Ernö GOLDFINGER (1902-1987)

La Trellick Tour, bâtiment de style brutaliste à Londres de 32 étages, est aujourd'hui devenue une icône par son architecture radicale et souvent caractérisée de laide.
Conçue par l'architecte designer hongrois Ernö Goldfinger , membre clé du mouvement moderne, il a lui-même vécu dans un appartement de la tour, comme il l'avait fait auparavant à la Tour Balfron.
Les appartements sont en duplex, on y accède par des passerelles tous les deux étages qui relient un bloc de service à la tour principale.

The Trellick Tour Brutalist-style building with 32 floors in London, has today become an icon for its radical architecture, often characterized as ugly.
Designed by the Hungarian architect designer Ernö Goldfinger, a key member of the modern movement, he has himself lived in an apartment of the tower, as he had done earlier in the Balfron Tower.
The apartments are duplexes and is accessed by bridges that connect the service block to the main tower.
