Le style Jean Royère

Le style unique de Jean Royère (1902-1981) se reconnaît entre tous. Sans formation particulière, à 29 ans il abandonne sa situation confortable dans l’import-export pour devenir décorateur et fondera sa propre entreprise qui interviendra dans de nombreux pays. Sur ces photos, on reconnaît le célèbre canapé Boule (1947), la chaise Quille (1955), l'applique Liane, la table basse Flaque (1948), la fauteuil Oeuf (1951).

The unique style of Jean Royere (1902-1981) is recognized by all. Without special training, at age 29 he abandoned his comfortable position in the import-export to become decorator and build his own company which will take place in many countries. On these photos, we recognize the famous Ball sofa (1947), the Keel chair (1955), the Vine applies, the Puddle coffee table (1948), the Egg chair(1951).
