Découverte : Marcel Storr, bâtisseur visionnaire

L'oeuvre de Marcel Storr est l'une des plus importantes découvertes d’art brut de ces dernières années en France. Enfant abandonné battu il devient sourd, condamné à l’illettrisme, cantonnier du bois de Boulogne, décédé en 1976 dans le plus complet anonymat...il aimait dessiner et a réalisé clandestinement des dessins de cathédrales et mégapoles imaginaires, ou d'architecture utopique avec un grand talent.
Le couple Liliane et Bertrand Kempf, amateur d'art, ont découvert son travail par hasard au début des années 70.
Aujourd'hui il est exposé jusqu'au 31 mars 2012 à la mairie du 20e arrondissement au pavillon Carré de Baudouin: Marcel Storr, bâtisseur visionnaire.

The work of Marcel Storr is one of the most important discoveries of Art Brut in recent years in France. Beaten child abandoned it becomes deaf, condemned to illiteracy, mender of the Bois de Boulogne, died in 1976 in complete anonymity ... he liked to draw and has made drawings of imaginary cathedrals and cities, or of utopian architecture with a great talent.
The couple Liliane & Bertrand Kempf, art lover, discovered his work by chance in the early 70's.
Today it is exposed to 31 March 2012 at the town hall of the Paris 20th District : Marcel Storr, visionary builder.
